X-Men Legends follows the exploits of the well-known Marvel heroes
in their ongoing battle to protect humanity from the ravages of
evil mutants. Combining the action of a fighting game and the
strategy, depth, and story of a role-playing game, gamers and comic
fans can command a team of heroes selected from a list of more
characters than ever before.
Select your squad of four mutants from the vast array of heroes that
have been members of the X-Men in its 40-year history and set out
on a quest to rid the world of a major threat to mankind. Fight
everything from armies of henchmen to formidable battle robots and a
vast array of evil mutants from the shapeshifting abilities of
Mystique to the absolute power of Magneto. As you tailor your own
super team, you can train them in the Danger Room to your own
liking. Over time they can learn new moves and even combine their
powers, making your X-Men the most powerful heroes the world has
ever seen.
