A prototype of MX Rider for the PlayStation 2.
Notes
- Normally crashes after loading a track on PCSX2 but applying Delay VIF1 stalls under Game Fixes will make this playable, such issues do not happen on physical hardware.
- Dated just over a month before the NTSC retail and while certain features have been modified to match the final release (such as the removal of Tutorial mode), most remain unchanged from the July 27th build including driver names and track order.
- Intro is watermarked on the top right with 'Aug 19 2001 19:19:00'
- The Language Select screen when booting up the game uses a different background.
- The 'Text Viewer' option is now viewable and highlights how other languages apart from English were still incomplete at this point in time.
- Freestyle events have proper high scores and loading screens use the final typeface.
- Miscellaneous Notes:
- Game is emulatable (in PCSX2): Yes (as of August 22, 2026).
- Game contains dongle protection: No.
