A demo build of World Championship Snooker 2002 for the PlayStation 2.
Notes
- Dated 2 months and 16 days before the final build.
- Loading screen states this is a demo version with a '90% complete' tagline included.
- The language screen appears after all the company videos rather than before them.
- Blade are still using their older intro which would later be updated.
- Playing in practice mode will put you at the Royal Scots instead of the Games Room due to it being the only venue on this demo.
- Various changes can be found at the records screen where certain venues either had totally different names (British Open) or were tweaked to stand out more (Champions Cup).
- The default custom snooker player is completely different in comparison to the retail and doesn't appear to cycle through a pre-set list, instead only having the sole example.
- Rather infamously this demo is known to act very buggy on both physical hardware and emulators including floating heads, massive slowdown and ear-piercingly loud noises.
