  • The presence of the godfather_psp folder suggests that this build was used to test missions for The Godfather: Mob Wars.
  • There are HUD references for "target railshooter" in the Page 44 text files. It seems that the planned but cut drive by shooting for Aldo was going to be brought over to Mob Wars.
  • There are references to Willie Cicci in the Sonny's War mission text files. He was originally part of the mission but was cut. He can be seen in the opening cutscene but disappears when gameplay starts. There is unused audio from him for the mission in the final game's audio files!
  • There are some npcs such as "snitch" and "car salesman" in the npc model files. They would go on to be unused in the final game. There is even unused audio for the snitch in the final game's audio files!
  • There are npc models known as "kid", "boy", "Moe Greene", "quack" and "herc" referenced in the global text files. Moe Greene was planned to be in the game along with his missions but was cut for time and brought over to the Blackhand and Don's Edition versions of the game. The quack was the earlier name for the doctor. The herc stands for "hero character" and is an earlier version of Aldo. This model would go on to be unused in the final game. The snitch and car salesman models are referenced here as well.
  • The "target railshooter" is referenced again multiple times in the global text files.
  • There are unknown letters with numbers in the global text files. These are actually the internal mission identification names. One actually stands out which is "s10". This turns out to be a cut story mission!
  • "Hot Wiring" is referenced in the global text files. Aldo originally had to jumpstart cars as opposed to being able to drive them straightaway.

  • There is TONS of Crimewatch debug descriptions in the global text files.
