A late prototype of Spider Solitaire for PC, which had some minor differences.
Notes
The Cutting Room Floor research
- Found in a Beta version of Microsoft Plus! for Windows 98.
- The "Deal!" menu is not implemented yet.
- Text related to the ending animation is not present in the prototype. The final version will notify the user if they cannot run the animation due to DirectX not being installed or the game not running in 256 color mode.
- The "Deal Next Row" shortcut is
Ctrl+R instead of D.
- It is impossible to change the game's difficulty as opposed to the final version of the game, as the player is only allowed to play 4 suits as opposed to one, two, or three suits.
- There is a bug that allows for multiple suits of the same card to be in play.
