A prototype of San Francisco Rush 2049 for the Dreamcast.

Notes

  • The bottom left of the screen has "82% DONE" overlaid throughout the game
  • Placeholder Midway logo with disclaimer, immediately on startup
  • No MPEG + ADX logo screen. The animated Midway logo is also absent
  • Considerably different title logo animation, nearly identical to the arcade intro. (with the voice-over saying "RUSH!")
  • Title screen is missing the copyright info at the bottom
  • No music in the menus
  • Different sound effect (drum) when scrolling through the menu selections
  • Button symbol differences (placement and also "B" having a function on-screen)
  • Different single-player menu
    • Instead of "VMU" and "Create Player", it has "Pak" and "Rescan Pak"
  • The mode select lack Ghost Race and Circuit, instead has Time Trial.
    • Positioning of the list is closer to "Select Mode" (higher up)
  • Much simpler race track selection, with a different set of options/parameters for the race
  • Same goes for pretty much everything about the car selection screen, and even the available cars themselves
    • Cars are generically labeled "car 1", "car 2", etc.
    • No message to "Fasten your seatbelt" when your car is selected
  • Differences in the player's status display/overlay during the race
  • No music during the races, either
