Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is a game that works in a way where if essential files like .forge (even if they are never used) are not exactly what the executables require, it will be practically impossible to make the build functional unless modifications are made. In order to avoid creating several prototype files that are unplayable, it was decided to put all these builds in a single article. It is worth noting that a prototype can exist in several devkits that may have a chance of completing the incomplete build; however, until these builds are not functional, they will remain here.
Note 1: Keep in mind that multiplayer versions will not be playable for obvious reasons, however, if they are not corrupted and thus allow you to access the menu, they are not considered "unplayable".
Note2: In edits, to avoid the download links being moved to the end of the page, use only "Edit source".
These unplayable prototypes are the ones mentioned below.
Jul 21, 2013 prototype
- Xbox 360 Build.
- Found on a Terarelease 1.0 hdd. (Ubisoft Massive HDD #3 - Assassin's Creed Revelations MP and SP, Splinter Cell).
- There are 261 files recovered via hex and 69 that could not be recovered (the majority being large files or . forge files). A manifest containing the list of recovered and unrecovered files can be found in the build.
- The build name is: X360_c770590_d325939_s19705_MS-WW
Jul 22, 2013 15.03 prototype
- Xbox 360 Build.
- Found on a Terarelease 1.0 hdd. (Ubisoft Massive HDD #3 - Assassin's Creed Revelations MP and SP, Splinter Cell).
- There are 298 files recovered via hex and 95 that could not be recovered (the majority being large files or . forge files). A manifest containing the list of recovered and unrecovered files can be found in the build.
- Unable to recover any relevant executables.
- The build name is: X360_c771104_d326699_s19715_MS-WW
Jul 22, 2013 22.42 prototype
- Xbox 360 Build.
- A manifest was found in Terarelease 1.0 hdd. (Ubisoft Massive HDD #3 - Assassin's Creed Revelations MP and SP, Splinter Cell) but it seems that there is no file related to it that can be recovered.
- The build name is: X360_c771408_d327307_s19726_MS-WW

- This build was compiled +- 5 hours after Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (Jul 23, 2013 prototype).
- Found on a Terarelease 1.0 hdd. (Ubisoft Massive HDD #3 - Assassin's Creed Revelations MP and SP, Splinter Cell).
- There are 258 files recovered via hex and 68 that could not be recovered (the majority being large files or . forge files). A manifest containing the list of recovered and unrecovered files can be found in the build.
