Notes

  • Three files are modified between this release and retail with no distinguishable differences in sound or video:
    • ending_normal.sfd: The credits video that plays at the end of an offline (non-ultimate difficulty) Episode II playthrough.
      • A byte at offset 0x02465AD0 was changed from 30 to 34.
    • MEDICAL.adx: The background music that plays in the Medical Center on Pioneer 2.
      • A byte at offset 0x000F365C was changed from 42 to 46.
    • sound.bin: An AFS file containing .proj, .pool, .sdir, and .samp files for every area of the game.[1]
      • A byte at offset 0x0081CCF8 was changed from 30 to 34.
      • A byte at offset 0x0095EDF8 was changed from 20 to 24.
      • A byte at offset 0x010E7F58 was changed from 30 to 34.
      • A byte at offset 0x011D8DE0 was changed from 30 to 34.
