A late prototype of NHL Powerplay 98 for the PlayStation, Developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Virgin Interactive, dated July 31, 1997, 5 days before the final version. The disc is labeled with "70801.1" in the date field, but looking at other released prototypes for this game, this is the version number for the build.

This prototype has no visisble differences when compared to the final version, but there are differences in the files. However, the disc it originated from was damaged and thus the dump is not perfect, so some of the changes in files can possibly be attributed to this. Additionally, another disc came in the same lot, labeled "NHL 98 ART", which contained a single 45MB image file for use in the magazine that received the prototype for review.
