Notes

The Cutting Room Floor research
  • The prototype was unfortunately supplied with some files missing, most notably not having any world files: As such, the game will hang after starting a new game. A version of the prototype with the final's level files are included in the archive, which makes the game playable, albeit with some serious issues.
  • Voice files aren't included, but work if inserted from the final's files.
  • Music files aren't included, and don't work if inserted from the final.
  • Running the game on a modern Windows OS requires dgVoodoo2 to be playable. No other DirectX wrapper will work correctly.
  • A number of files for Legends of Might and Magic, which was developed concurrently and on the same engine, are included.
  • The console is enabled and can be accessed with the ` key.
  • Godmode is enabled by default.
  • The NWC/3DO intro videos are included but don't play.
  • If the final's world files are used, a new game will load into a seemingly otherwise-unused test area.
