In 2008, a former Appaloosa employee sold some items from the development of various Ecco the Dolphin projects during the time of the Sega Dreamcast. The lot included various prototype builds, source code, and development asset backups mostly of "Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Universe", but also included material for the canceled sequel "Ecco II: Sentinels of the Universe". The lot was purchased by [[Drx]] and was archived and released in pieces starting in June of 2016, along with other Ecco the Dolphin development material from various sources, for "Ecco Month".

Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future (Sega Dreamcast)

Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future is the fourth title in the Ecco the Dolphin series. It was released in 2000 for the Dreamcast.
