A late NTSC-U review of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 for the Sony PlayStation.
Notes
- Compiled two weeks before the final build.
- The Activision o2, Neversoft and Shaba Games intro videos play twice in the beginning. Once before and once after the game's intro FMV.
- Not all of the hidden characters have been implemented. Wolverine is just the THPS2 version of Private Carrera.
- Move the right analog stick in-game to activate a "Free Look" mode and lock the camera by pressing R3.
Cheat codes
An additional set of debug cheats is enabled in this build. Furthermore, some of these codes are leftovers from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and might not work in this particular build, despite being registered upon entering.
To enter these codes, navigate to the pause menu, hold down L1 and enter the code. A shaking menu screen will confirm a successful entry.

Featuring realistic, cutting edge graphics, action-packed gameplay, seamless
video cinematic sequences and crisp special effects, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3
extends beyond the boundaries of the traditional skateboarding genre.
You'll skate through realistic urban settings complete with pedestrians,
cars, and traffic accidents.
We encountered one small problem, if you let the game idle once it gets
to the main menu screen for more than 30 secs it crashes while trying
to load a demo movie. Apart from that it all works fine !
