A prototype of Burnout 2: Point of Impact for the PlayStation 2.
Notes
- An NTSC preview build dated a month before the final.
- The game appears to be a limited demo.
- The game starts with a "PLACE HOLDER INTRO SEQUENCE".
- The words "BETA CANDIDATE 1.0" are present at the bottom of the screen at all times during gameplay.
- Miscellaneous Notes:
- Game is emulatable (in PCSX2): Yes (as of March 17, 2021).
- Game contains dongle protection: No.
Crash mode
While the names of crash zones are identical to the retail release, the order is slightly different and most zones were swapped around.

[1]: While the zone is identical, it is played in reverse compared to the retail release (start and finish were swapped around).
[2]: This zone starts on a previous stretch of highway compared to the retail release (its finish is located where the retail zone starts).
[3]: The car hovers over the ground then slowly sinks under the map, making this zone unplayable.
